Describe FilterCavity/Electronics here.
SERVOFILTER Module
This NIM module is a servo module intended to control the following devices: SHG, GRMC (Green mode cleaner), MZ (Mach-Zender),OPO, IRMC (IR mode cleaner) and 2 CC (Coherent Control).
It includes the following stages and features:
- Input stage (inverting/ non inverting control on front panel): ERROR IN
- 1 input (PERTURB IN) and 2 outputs (EPS1 and EPS2) for transfer function (TF = EPS1/EPS2)
- Offset control (potentiometer on front panel)
- Variable gain (potentiometer on front panel): VARIABLE GAIN OUTPUT
- 1/f integrator and 1/f2 double integrators (switchable on front panel: 1/f or 1/f3)
- Differentiator (switchable on front panel)
- Low-pass filter (switchable on board)
- Notch filter 1 (switchable on board)
- Notch filter 2 (switchable on board)
- 1 TEST IN input and 1 TEST OUT output on front panel for testing differentiator, low-pass filter and notch filter (in SCAN mode).
- Output stage between 0V and 10V. Centered on 5V in SCAN mode: SERVO OUT
- Logic control:
- SCAN or LOCK mode switchable on front panel
- AUTO or MANUAL locking mode switchable on front panel. Switch ON /OFF for manual mode
- Logic Reset button (RAZ) and red LED on front panel
- Input for transmission signal for automatic lock. Can be inverted or not by a strap on board.
- ENABLE IN and ENABLE OUT on front panel in order to chain Servo-filter modules
- Locked monitoring TTL output and green LED on front panel
- Selection of the locking front of error signal (+ or -) on front panel
- remote control (ON /OFF) switch and remote DB9 connector for the following control: 1/f or 1/f3 ; INV or NON INV ; ON or OFF lock (active only for manual mode) ; Differentiator ON or OFF
The board is supplied with 2 NIM standard supplies: +12V and -12V.
The logic part is supplied by a 5V supply derived from the +12V supply.

Transfer Function calculation of the servo-filters modules (April 2019)
The transfer functions of the following 7 control loops were calculated with Matlab:
- SHG
- Green Mode Cleaner (GRMC)
- Mac-Zender (MZ)
- IR Mode Cleaner (IRMC)
- OPO
- Coherent Control of Green Phase (CC-1)
- Coherent Control of IR Phase (CC-2)
Attached is an archive file with Matlab scripts and data files used for these 7 servo-filters transfer functions calculations:
Modifications of the 7 servo-filters modules (April 2019)
The 7 servo-filters modules were modified according to the previous transfer function calculations.
